I've outdated myself, but in your preposterous scenario where the app was only used to "view lines" is akin to the time I told my mother I was only reading the articles in the Playboy she found under my bed. 1+1 has always equaled 2 in every generation. It's not and the NCAA wouldn't have subpoena power to access IP addresses if he in fact was using another persons account. He doesn't know what he's talking about. thebigweave and CSP 2 Quote

A bunch of schmucks who think they are better than us. Kid could get shipped to Iran tomorrow - I'll let him have a little fun with his money. Some say he could potentially work at tackle, some say he took reps at OT and looked bad in practice. Assuming Ajani takes another step forward, it would be great to keep Brunner on the interior. No reason to change him now. He's looking to max his draft value. BtownStrength 1 Quote

The NCAA just barred 3 basketball players from San Jose State/Fresno State for life for gambling on their sport. You're clueless if you don't think they have that power when it comes to the integrity of their organization. Silly to suggest otherwise. Quote

They have no such thing. Their investigative abilities are limited. Sure they can ban players and coaches, but that's about it. Quote
Popular Post Stuhoo Posted January 14 Popular Post Posted January 14 Hey all, Many many posts from many posters (myself included) that are off-topic here. We have threads that cover both Nick Marsh and the NCAA's lack of enforcement capabilities. Let's please ASAP get this thread back on track -- IUFB Recruiting and Transfer Updates. IU knocked Moore out of the NFL draft! We'll have to see where the rosters settle, but agree the conference is gonna be gauntlet again. Oregon might be better, O$U of course. Who know how all the new coaches come out of the gate, but gotta think the bottom of the conference (other then Purdoo of course) should be better. What is IU still looking for, I would assum line depth on either side of the ball, more DB depth? skhoosier2 1 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Serious question guys for those of you who got to see the heyday of IU Basketball. Is this what it was like where you were already getting excited for the next season while we were in the season. And you just knew the offseason would be agony J34 1 Quote

But this was in the age long before any form of social media, podcasts, etc., and information was pretty much limited to whatever the Indpls. Star published. Hardly ever got any real indication of who Knight was recruiting until a commitment was announced. mamasa and str8baller 2 Quote
