Cody Zeller very active on X tonight.

Indiana basketball is back!  We are all still getting used to this new world of NIL, transfer portal, 5+ years of college eligibility….BUT I think Hoosier fans are going to like the new roster and playing style.  We’ll play fast, shoot a lot of 3s, and hopefully a bunch of wins!

Trent Sisley #11   Indiana kid!  And a future fan favorite! Trent has great size for a small forward. He will make an open 3, finish around the rim, dive on the floor, and play with toughness. Expect him to fill the stat sheet and the team will play well when he’s on the court!

Tucker DeVries #12   Coach’s son and our best player.  Tucker has experience, great basketball IQ, and a knock down 3 point shooter.  Expect him to be a calming presence in big games, shooting/making shots in clutch situations, and he’ll lead our team throughout the season.

Reed Bailey #1   Reed and his size will be important for our group!  He has good mobility and handles it well for a center.  High motor! Expect to see him initiating the offense from the top of the key with dribble hand offs or attacking his defender with a drive and spin.

Lamar Wilkerson #3 SHOOTER!!!! Last season Wilkerson averaged 21 PPG on 45% from 3.  He’ll shoot from deep, in transition, and has a quick trigger!  Expect him to have some big games and put up a lot of points.  He is what the Hoosiers have been missing in previous years!

Tayton Conerway #6 Conerway will run the show for our offense.  He plays with confidence, handles well in the pick and roll, and he’s crafty passing and finishing around the rim.  He can really score, but he’ll help our shooters with his downhill drives and passing ability.

Conor Enright #5 Toughness! Conor is a senior with a lot of experience including 3 years with Coach DeVries at Drake. Good passer! He’ll play hard every night with energy and purpose.

Man, can’t believe I am missing out on being in the Hall on opening night. Between catching the flu, being an unpaid federal employee, and my wife in the hospital since Monday, I guess I can take comfort that I can watch with her at home tonight. Go Hoosiers!

PS: until the Gov opens back up, I will have tickets to several games available. PM me if interested.

Aww man...  Wishes for the best with health and circumstances....and less important although I am nuts about IU basketball...sports doesn't mean much without health, and wellbeing.  Good luck, bro.

Welcome to our posting world! IU doesn’t disclose, but…..

Dorn foot surgery X 2

Harris: ankle I think

Drake?

Ristic: ankle I think

Rayford? Hasn’t had a healthy day in his two years at IU or the year before that.

Welcome to the forum!

Current injury report for Indiana men's basketball

  • Out with a lower-body injury that has kept him sidelined for most of the offseason.

  • Recovering from a right leg injury sustained in a September practice.

  • Dealing with a foot injury, but there is hope he will be cleared to play this week and could be questionable for the season opener.
  • Sidelined with an ankle/foot injury and is expected to be out for an extended period.

I'm hearing Dorn may be able to go tonight!
