I just want to say, hats off to RaceToTheTop (Brumdog) for starting this thread.  It looks like it’s connecting old posters with each other and while discussing old stories!  I really like reading other stories, pretty cool!   Good idea!

The first board I was on was the Indy Star.  They had separate IU and Purdue boards and the IU forum was way more active.  Several of the clowns that later formed the "Claire Bee" site (I forget the name) were on there.

I don't remember what site it was on but my favorite user name was "Hands of Blab", lol.

I've been here just over 10 years... more of a lurker for the first part of my tenure... dabbled at Peegs once or twice... and connected with a pretty decent group of fans on a couple of IU list serve email groups... one is still around and has been for probably 25-30 years...

In all honesty tho, I can be a hard personality to manage.  I don't gaf, I (used to) fight message board idjits, I believe my own rhetoric.  There are a couple posters I've somehow kicked off of here that I'm proud of, but I'm sure they'll be back at any moment with nonsense to peddle.

So there was Milehi and GoColts, but mentioning those two in a sentence may start a war. Rest In Peace Mile, but there was so bad blood between those two. Not good at all.

Also remember CraigHoops, passionate IU fan from Hawaii who passed a while back as well. One of the first posters to welcome me to Scout and stayed in touch for quite some time. 
 

What feels weird is reminiscing since the Davis era, and I’m only 38 lol.

There’s a poster that comes around from time to time that makes me thing it’s him, possibly @Old Friend….? Some good people. Got the chance to meet up with @Stlboiler23 in STL quite some time ago. Always fun getting to know people here.
