My approach: drink enough to forget the suckage we witnessed tonight. Wake up tomorrow and be happy Indiana football made the first ever CFP 12 team playoff. Watch our mediocre basketball team. Then, hope we raise the bar for ourselves in both sports next year. Cheers to a helluva year fellas. 11-2 is nothing to hang our heads over. Onward and upward.

This comment is part of the problem though.

Nah…there’s structural disadvantages to a program like Indiana in football. I lived in Madison during part of Wisconsins solid run. There’s no shame in being a very good, but not great, program. It was fun. So much better than being the doormat of old.

Welp.

I have no interest in hearing post-game pundits as the “Indiana didn’t belong” comments will be rampant.

Maybe they are right but I don’t want to hear it.

Now what do we do? Get excited for the big Chattanooga game LOL LOL LOL

IU loses by 16-18 points to 11-1 Notre Dame:  ‘they don’t belong’

Alabama loses by 21 to Oklahoma:  they should have been in!

Yup. Just ignore the morons. IU was easily a top 12-15 team this year. Just not a top 5ish.

The bigger problem moving forward is cig was outcoached in his two biggest games and honestly the second half of the UM game too. He did a great job this year but needs to improve moving forward if he wants to maintain this success.
