That Ponds pick-six was the fruits of a great player backed by great coaching. Not some freakish feat of athleticism, but the type of mental, detail-oriented football that this staff and team leans on. I can't stop watching that play. The zoom out to get the crowd as he crosses the goal line gets me every time, too.

I think we're close in age, so just about any big play from this season may qualify as the most iconic <insert type of play> play of our lifetimes lol. Outside of a game-winning FG (AUSTIN STARR) course. But yeah, I can't come up with any that come close to that.

I’d love to know what the decibels were on crowd noise after that. This team is so good. And honestly, our fans deserve it after all these years. Most fun IU team to watch in any sport in a long while for me.

I know... we were in section 26 about row 60 and that play was at maybe the 35ish? Where we were standing/watching was like looking right down the line when it happened. We had to see it on the big screen to totally see what happened and how it developed. It happened sooo fast. lol

It was also going to be a trick play (double pass) back to UW sideline. Ponds said.. no no.

Ponds is getting a lot of well-deserved attention for that pick six. But maybe not enough attention is being given to redshirt sophomore/JMU transfer Tyrique Tucker. 

Here's the play; look at the UW QB's throwing arm. That's Tyrique's red-gloved left hand slapping the QB's arm at the exact right moment, resulting in a throw directly into the oncoming DeAngelo Ponds' arms.
