The uptick in paychecks this year is crazy. We are probably not far from top 10 quality teams needing $10,000,000 just for the starting lineup.

One of the valid arguments prior to NIL was that many of the kids helped drive revenue but couldn’t even afford to get a strom at Nicks. Now we are in a place in which some of those kids could buy Nicks.

Not directing this at you, but find it really hard to believe Trilly Donovan would have any idea what the prioritization order is of our recruits… just don’t see how he/they would know especially since they don’t seem  very plugged into IU generally.

two bigs(starting C and rotational big), one more wing(rotational) and another freshman(pair with sisley) or two minimum and I think we have ourselves a good squad.  That would put us at 12/13 scholarship players.

I like this one. Watching more than my fair share of low majors (thanks fanduel), I remember Drake. Kid just had that “it” quality that made you notice him.

Seems like a solid depth piece. Always a risk grabbing low majors but I’m sure CDD has done his due diligence in scouting these players. Im cautiously optimistic he will make the adjustments in the Big Ten.

There is an argument to be made that the rest of the roster should be made up of incoming freshmen and sophomores. Excluding an experienced rim protector. 
 

This will allow for some continuity going into the 26/27 season. And a more targeted approach to the portal and high school recruiting.
