On Rivals, there is an interview with Risley who said that DeVries is negotiating with a bunch of players and expected 4-5 commits by the end of the week.  This is coming from a former players call with DeVries and Dolson.

Much like Luke Goode, Brzovic's career is subject to pending NCAA intervention.  He's used his eligibility and has a pending lawsuit.  There's a link within the link below that discusses the lawsuit.  In the current environment, he likely wins and gets another year but there's no guarantee at this point in time.

Why would he get the extra year, because he was at Div II for a year?  Do they still have the graduate transfer for that 5th year?

The last day of the quiet period is tomorrow so the weekend is definitely allowed. 

I'm just guessing at the answer to your question but, knowing the NCAA, probably not.

How sure are we that IU is even in the top 10 of NIL? BYU Louisville, Duke look to all be big spenders.

Edit: $4M of the Dyabantes deal is probably from BYU NIL, the rest from other deals not associated with the school at all. Still, that's $7.5M on 2 players. Can't spell "buy" without "BYU."

It would have seemed crazy last year, but I wonder if Pope actually took a better job at UK. BYU is loaded with NIL and in the Biq 12 vs SEC. SEC will have more overall revenue, but BYU will be at a competitive advantage to a lot of Big 12 teams.

The NCAA has given players who played in JUCO ball an extra fifth year this year while legisltation is going through.  Lamar Wilkerson actually was at a JUCO for two years (one he was hurt, so redshirt) and then played three years at Sam Houston State....without the extra JUCO year granted, his eligibility would be up since he's had four years.

Watched video on Ante. Can see why 160 schools are interested in him.  Skilled offensively.  Wilkerson news is concerning.  He got me over the Conwell doom.  Hopefully we can still pull him. I think we will.  
 

Schools are swinging big.  We need a few more really big splashes to get people talking.
