The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

We couldn’t get players like Chris Ledlum last year. It’s going to be bad. And while I think there will still be a lot in the portal, the overall pool should be lower with the Covid year gone.

Mike Woodson is too bleeping lazy to do the job.  He isn't even doing the minimum requirements.  You could almost live with a down year if you had any semblance of possible positive change on the horizon.  We have nothing.  We have a lazy a$$ mailing it in and an administration that believes that is worth another try at $4 million a year.  We're a joke.

It's a **** show to say the least. Keeping Woodson seems like a massive mistake especially in a coaching carousel that could have big names like Josh Schertz and Dusty May available. Now even if you keep Woodson and sold yourself on the fact he could save a season next year with his recruits like McNeeley is out the window. McNeeley's gone and it's bye bye season in

Let's face it, this utter fire storm would have been briefly avoided if the press release would have been held off until seasons end. I would have felt better if it said,....."At this time, Coach Mike Woodson will be returning next year."

Oh my God!  Part of the coaching job is constructing a team for next year.  You only had 1 recruit signed (which you lost) and you had possibly 5 scholarships to fill, and you haven't talked with Galloway or Leal about whether they were using their covid years?  That is so inept.  Woodson must go.  Every time Woodson opens his mouth he embarrasses IU and himself.

Attention PhD candidates...need a thesis topic or a gold medal case study in failed leadership, organizational management disasters, or how to ruin a good organization through malignant ineptitude? Take a look at Indiana University's senior leadership failures and fiascos.

(sorry its come to this, and I'm a two-time alum, but Good Lord our administration looks fatally and crippingly incompetent, again. Or is it "still"?)

There just aren't that many real difference makers on the portal outside of the yop 25 guys. And Woodson needs 4 or 5 difference makers.
