He impressed incoming coach Mike White enough that White retained him, and eventually took him to Florida too. So if it is May, I'd assume he'd be at least somewhat open to the idea. Oh for sure, I would imagine Hulls and Calbert would be the most safe. Everyone should update their resumes.

Hornsby Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 From a friend who still works at IU over an email group about IU athletics ... I don't know how many of us belong to Peegs premium, but I've been a member for a good long time. In today's inside edition it sounds like the body of our basketball team is being prepared for last rites. Woodson's inadequate and poorly planned recruiting and roster construction will most likely do him in at the end of this season. Additionally his stubbornly refusing to make changes in our offensive and defensive plans has led to a number of our losses. The last straw apparently is that there were no IU coaches at any sectional games Wednesday evening - the first night of the tournament. There are a number of outstanding Indiana high school juniors and the absence of Indiana interest has not been well received. There is no predicting how many current players will return next fall meaning as many as six players from the portal. That's no way to build a program for the long term. Morose is the best description of my feelings at this time. Wow. Yeah not going to the sectionals was a horrible look especially when your team is near the bottom of the big ten.Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk Tom White 1

Woodson should have been told it was a condition of him getting the job that he would accept the structure put in place around him. Ding ding ding, we have a Winner! Or better yet, Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner!! That should have been the condition and it should have been stipulated in his contract along with Fife being his top assistant

That with the end of the season, there's an unknown number of departures to a number of different destinations (NBA, overseas, portal, real estate careers, etc)... that the team as we see it today is gonna die off - next year will look completely different, regardless of who is coaching. 8bucks and thebigweave 2

And screw the 'no one wanted to come in and sit behind X'.....why in the hell didn't he bring in a combo or shooting guard? Despite his shooting struggles, I like Galloway but he's getting 34 minutes per game. Minutes were there. He was able to have Anthony Walker and Payton Sparks sign to come in and play backup minutes but he seriously couldn't find someone to come in and backup X and Galloway? You can't tell me that there was't someone to bring in as the primary backup guard that if pressed into the starting role wouldn't have been better than what we've gotten.
