Not being rude here. Do you think Coach Woodson right now could tell you where all of his players are from? I’m guessing he knows roughly half or maybe 2/3’s. Only shot he has is if they’re born on a fairway or near a clubhouse.

Hell…does Woodson even know all the players’ names on this current team? At a bare minimum Sleepy Mike probably mispronounces several.

For God's sake.
Can we please just end this disaster already?
The only way to inject some life into this program is to remove the guy who is stepping on its throat.
The king isn't has every intention of coming back.

Feed the football program, starve the men's basketball team for a few years.  Get a new money printer started over at Memorial Stadium because as long as we refuse to humor the NIT, we shouldn't bother with this farce.

Starting to feel like this may be the plan. If so, I’m done with IU. So hope this isn’t the case

Does Woodson really even focus on other teams? …he has his assistants like Ya focus/scout the other teams for him…which frankly is scary in itself

He can't even focus on HIS OWN team (ok, the Cooks and Simons' team)... but he can count the cheddar and enjoy the perks of being king.

I’m fine with bball getting a lot of NIL for the new coach.  The new coach, Scott, and donors do need some better procedures in place to avoid doing stuff like paying Leal $400K.  He’s worth half that and the remaining $200K needs to be saved or go elsewhere (other bball players or FB).

Finally a signature win. All the “real fans” should be proud!
The king has to be riding high after that big upset win. Now upset Winthrop and we can start talking elite 8 again.

Do you think anyone has advised him to stop saying that? If his answer is he needs to get them over the hump every single game for 4 years he has to know or be informed by someone that that makes him look incredibly stupid

He did his job yesterday. You try and win with only 6 million dollars. The cooks needed to give him at least 10 million to get this thing going.

No one questions what Mike Woodson says or what Mike Woodson does. That's why he's king. King of the Incompetent. King of the Parasites. King of the Soon-to-be Unemployed.

Sure had me fooled.
Well coming from quinn...

DALLAS —  Quinn Buckner, accused by the club owner of fostering widespread discontent on the team, was fired Tuesday after coaching the Dallas Mavericks to the worst record in the NBA this season.

Buckner had four years left on his contract. His team went 13-69 in a season marked by a chorus of complaints from his best players--rookie Jamal Mashburn, Jim Jackson and Derek Harper, later traded to the New York Knicks.

Sounds like he’s spreading that good cheer to the IU basketball program

Everyone wants him gone...well almost everyone, but  I see absolutely no one on this staff that wouldn't make this a bigger clown show.

The best scenario, which won't happen, is for Dolson to have a sit down with  Miserable Mike and to layout that he is gone after the season, and to explain the most gracious way and best way to go about it would be to announce, near the start of the B1G conference play season, that he has set this team on the right path ( an ego saving lie), but he is going to move on to his next phase of life after the season.

That allows him to be the (fake) controller of his destiny and also lets prospective hires  have their agents put out feelers and for IU to get a head start on vetting such.

Again, way too much common sense to ever happen unfortunately

We all know he isn’t going to do what is best for the iU basketball program, he only wants to do what is best for himself
