Give me Dusty May instead of Mike Woodson. The speech yesterday is basically irrelevant For me? The Rabjohns download on Woody was the ultimate truth bomb - point of no return. What was the Rabjohns truth bomb? Woodson's speech yesterday...Yikes, how dare anyone question him. Woodson is the one that set the goals of winning championships.

That being said our btt history is dismal so who knows but Teo wins won't be enough they would have to win it all. Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk With our draw we could make it to Sunday. If that happens we pick up a Q2 win over PSU, and Q1 wins over Nebraska and Illinois. That puts us at 5-9 Q1, 6-4 Q2, 10-1 Q3/Q4. I think that puts us in Dayton. We would also be this year’s hotly debated example of why the committee should/shouldn’t consider conference tournament performance.

I don't think so but stranger things have happened. Road win at Maryland dropped to Q2 with the Terps dropping from 72-77 in the NET, need them to beat Rutgers and hope they creep back below 75. 6-9 Q1 would look ok from a resume standpoint considering many have multiple teams as locks who won't have anywhere close to 6 Q1 wins. Our NET needs to be in the 70's for IU to even be considered I would think. It's at 93 now.

go iu bb Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 It looks like the only way to get the team to play hard is to call for Woodson's job. Since most who were calling for him to be fired haven't had their minds changed by a few wins against bad teams, that should continue over the summer and into next season. So I guess we can expect the team to play hard all year next year! Great news. Home Jersey and patrickmorriso9 2

Magisterium Posted March 11, 2024 Posted March 11, 2024 2 hours ago, Stuhoo said: A little self-examination; I've never been a guy that was especially bothered by players who run "too hot" either. Hyper-competitive people with stuff that blurts out? That's pretty much everyone in life that has a hot motor. Probably why yesterday's speeches were pretty much a nothing-burger to me. Now, if we continue to not win at a high level? That's non-negotiable. I'd rather have Dusty May than Woody because I like the odds of Dusty May winning at a high level for an extended run at IU much much much more than I like Woody's chances for that. But if Woody wins and vents frustration with an "I told you so?" That doesn't bother me. Sounding like May could be returning to the Midwest very soon (either Columbus or Chicago), which would make him almost certainly unavailable to IU a year from now.
