Chris is dead serious. He loves the Stangs more than he loves coach searches.

That is true. Probably only because we only get coaching searches every 3-4 years LOL

we're not much in the sports realm (though the varsity girls are pretty good, and mostly sophomores....bright future there), but our marching band took home state 2 years in a row now.....so there's that!

Saw Brody play in the 2000 state finals against LCC. Dude was within range the minute he crossed the half court line

I went to Bloomington North when they won the last single class title in 1997 and watched the finals in person. That was a helluva team.

Wait...are you talking about 3rd times the charm for Pearl,  or for iubhounds2 getting over the hump for his poo?

No, 3rd times a charm for getting hopes up for a big name just to be let down. Donovan then Stevens.

I bet he freaked when they hired Maruhrian . I bet the Edgewood board was hopping . Lol . T

I actually liked Dave and coached junior high for him. He ran a great offense. We both drink about the same I just choose not to drive after drinking.

Love that red turf! I spent a couple years in Ellettsville and loved it. I miss it almost daily.

Interesting read.

However, I'm not sure getting cranky about going 0-5 against Penn State, Nebraska and Northwestern; taking 19- and 20-point losses to Purdue that could've easily been worse; feigning surprise that JHS left and being unprepared for it; leaving a scholarship open; yet another year of no consistent 3-point threats; and having just one player signed for the next class -- among many other legitimate gripes -- is overreacting!

Heck of nice guy  who had problems . Kids love him. Was awesome to my godsons who almost transfered to Rockville instead of Clay City  to play for him .

When did we start rooting for Kentucky?

Haha, I got that analogy thinking about my Kentucky relatives.  It's been tough being around them at family get togethers the last few years, but all I have to do to change the conversation is bring up "The Wat Shot". That gets them riled up every time, still haven't gotten over that, LOL

I agree. But talking about it 24/7 might be. Some folks need to get out of the house.
