I think he would consider it if it meant staying behind for next year’s staff (if a change is made).

Calbert doesn't want it. Not happening

If we ever went to an interim coach, by far the most likely choice would be Kenya Hunter. The second most likely would be Yasir, and the third most likely would be Walsh. I guess Calbert would be a one in a hundred shot at taking the temporary role.

Agreed, this is the way IMO as well.

It will be Kenya

He's kinda a perfect choice to be the interim if we go that way. Mature, experienced, low-key, complete non-boat rocker, very, very little chance (i.e. winning the national championship would do it) of being considered for the permanent job.

There needed to be a picture of him leaving the locker room.

Not seeing a link to the video of Woody and Yasir arguing nor Woody leaving AH after the game.

Anyone?

I have not but I heard it was very interesting. Wish someone had a recorder like when Knight went off on the team after kicking them out of practice.

I fully understand how some people feel towards Scott Dolson throughout this mess but IMO he's been tiptoeing through a minefield.  I truly believe he wanted to make the change last year but QB and the big $$ came to Woody's rescue.  Like it or not, Dolson can't just flip off those big $ donors and thus we got another year.  Ferguson and the others aren't stupid.  They can see their money that Woody used to buy a team might as well have been flushed down a toilet.  They know the animosity Woody has created among the fan base.  Unless the current governor makes a gigantic mistake and reappoints QB to the BOT, his influence is gone.  The hiring of Coach Cig and his immediate success have also bought Dolson political capital to bring this disaster to an end.  This nightmare is over.

What would be the perfect solution is if these 2 guys could magically do their thing with the entire IU fanbase.

I rewound the game. You can see Ya getting mad at CMW. Then CMW saying something to him at the beginning of the timeout after the made 3. You can also see Goode stop CMW from leaving the court before shaking hands.

At the end of the game?

Ok, three things:  1) Chris, you gotta fill us in on this after the locker room thing.

2)  Did we hear anymore from JerryYeagley on the interesting texts from last night

3) Interim has to be Kenya.  He has head coaching aspirations, not sure about Ya, maybe he does too.  Regardless, I can see the possibility that none of the coaches want the interim job while Woody is still around.  But if you make it clear Woody is gone no matter what, I think that lessens the friction of one of them taking over.  Just my thoughts.

I think Scott was taking in how dysfunctional our whole basketball program was yesterday. He has a lot to work with moving forward.

The entire basketball program needs to be overhauled. I like Hulls, Walsh, and Cliff, but everyone outside of Garl needs to be let go. We have to get rid of the losing culture and mediocrity that has been established by the last two head coaches.

They will not fire Woody before the season is over, but I what they should do is announce soon that he will retire at the end of the season. That helps protect his image, ease the frustration of the fan base, and allow these players to go out and play loose. It seems obvious and I’m sure it is to Dolson, but Woody seems arrogant enough to fight against a plan like this. I truly believe he thinks he is doing a fine job. I’m glad his time as our coach is nearing an end.
