I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. Mike Woodson is who he has been his entire coaching career - incredibly mediocre. Some people are ok with it, for reasons only they can understand, while the rest of us can’t wait for him to be gone. You can give him the best talent money can buy, but his lack of coaching acumen will put a hard cap on the team’s potential.

At least we will get both this off-season and can get our hopes up again for 6 months.

We have the talent to win the Big Ten but we will finish 5 or 6th at best. And it's all because of Mike Woodson. I wish it wasn't the case. I'm just so sick of the mediocrity of this program. And I'm tired of the fans being blamed for being served a S**t Sandwich for the past 30 years and for not liking it. My hope is the Cignetti hire has lit a fire in the administration that getting the right coach makes a world of difference.

It’s hard to even get mad anymore. Woodson was a joke of a hire, and keeping him for a fourth season prolonged the joke. Scott Dolson has to know Woodson isn’t the answer. It’s just a matter of whether Scott will do the right thing and fire him. He didn’t last offseason. Maybe this offseason will be different. If it’s not? Then no reason for us to care more than Scott/Woodson do.

I think many thought the 6 million dollars would help overcome woodsons coaching. Seems not so. I wonder if those boosters will pony up big again next spring?

This is the second half effort of a roster filled with players who prioritized getting paid and a HC who is semi-retired. 

This season of Indiana men’s basketball is a grift.
