What do we do to the trustees tonight?
March to their homes with lit torches…LOL

I'm in!  Where do they live

Or we can do it with discussions instead.  Either way I'm in

I’ve tried to be very patient and positive with this group, but performance like tonight are just completely unacceptable. They got hit in the mouth and quit. They stood around on offense and were flat footed on defense. And they all just had a blank stare on their face. No emotion nobody looked like they even gave a ****.

That’s fine, but I still don’t think they are a good team… but the season will tell that story.

And that's fine also. However, they are a pretty good team. If B1G only gets 4-5 teams in tournament then right now they'd be one of them. I get the perception of tonight but that doesn't meet the reality. IU isn't good and Nebraska kinda is.

IU was 0-3 first two weeks of Jan last year. No panic button yet for me

As bad as that stretch was (and it was REALLY bad on this board), I had confidence that team would get back on track. We handled UNC at home and won at Xavier. We knew that team was way better than what they showed in those 3 losses. We're probably better than what we saw tonight, but the ceiling appears to be considerably lower with this group.

Our ceiling is dependent on guard play so I definitely agree that the ceiling is lower this year..  Not only would it be great to get scoring from consistent 1 and 2G perimeter threats but it would really open up things for our solid 3/4/5’s.
Any coach with an IQ above 50 is going to double/triple team Ware and Malik. There will be the occasional game when they get burned by a hot shooting TG or X but most of the time packing it in will work for them.

Not the first time this team got punched and quit, same with Auburn.

At this point we need to view Johnson as needed depth but no sort of answer. He was great in the BTT a couple years ago but hasn't been that player since even when healthy.

He has physical traits but doesn't have it between the ears. I'd say when he starts crapping himself we need to get him off the floor before he plays us out of the game but our other guards aren't good either.

Will be interested to see how Nebraska fares the rest of the season. But No pushback here on IU not being good.

The roster is flawed, we are what we are.

One bad game doesn't have me ready to panic. I am very very concerned though by the same issues on the court and Woodson's press conference yesterday. He sort of threw the guards and Mackenzie under the bus... he's the one who built the roster. A little accountability would be nice. There's got to be a lot of mixed feelings in the locker room. JHS was getting roasted on Twitter last night for playing poorly with the Lakers... sure would be nice if he were playing himself into the lottery instead. Hope Mackenzie is taking note...

Getting to the tournament would be a great year. But the bar has to be higher in year 3. Get them playing strong through the rest of the conference season then go get some stud guards Woody!

On the surface it's one game. We still can't guard the perimeter and at this point that's a systemic issue, we've had problems keeping team off the offensive glass which again is systemic at this point. Still stink at FTs, which is just inexcusable. Our defense has gotten worse each year as well.

Nebraska itself is one game, but we continue to show serious underlying problems that in year 3 still haven't been addressed.

Nebraska is just one game... But Florida Gulf Coast, Army, Wright State, UConn, Louisville, Harvard, Michigan, Auburn, Morehead State, Kennesaw State, Nebraska... That's 11 games... Same issues every game.
