Take the W any way you can get it but gotta say I’m gonna be a little disappointed if we don’t lay a beating on them

For me?

Just like the Minnesota game:

  1. Get a win anyway we can, by any score.
  2. Come out of the game with no injuries of consequence.

Hell, that's what it takes for me to be completely satisfied in each and every game.

I do feel good about the game tonight. I bet most of you in the Eastern Time Zone are pleased with the start time! Gotta hope the team comes out ready to go. To me, this game is just as important as the Purdue game, it just won't have all the bells and whistles. Rutgers is a very good B1G team. I don't think they are built for March success as they won't get away with how they play in the tournament, but they're going to be tough. It does help that one of their starting bigs is out.

17 to IU's 9.

The Hoosiers also couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and had the ball stolen 7 times. An all around terrible game for them.

We were also down a starter and a half then. Sure, TJD played in the game... that is NOT the same TJD we've seen since Jan 1.

Not sure if we've been out-schemed once against this modern rugger team, just plain out-worked. Hopefully tonight is the night someone (preferably the All American) says enough is enough. We don't need the fake tough, nose to nose stuff, just stick a body on someone and rebound and we'll get a win. They can't lean on Fat Ron's heroics anymore.

Thankfully Ron Harper Jr. chose to become and undrafted player instead of coming back for another year.  Probably shows how little NIL money you can get in Piscataway.

That relationship is complicated at best.

Overall, yes. When he catches the ball in the post, largely no.

Haha as I typed it I thought about all of the bad replies that could follow. I’m with you though, complicated at best.
Last year I bet on his Pt/Reb props every chance and the dude made me a killing. Ultimately though I am appreciative of Race for staying, had many opportunities to jump ship and a ton of injuries compounded on him. Talent aside, he’s a great ambassador for IU basketball

I would be ecstatic with a 6:30 ET start time for all our weekday games.

Very conducive for those of us who try going to bed by 9:30.
