If he hits a couple of 3s and slams one down maybe it is the "push" he needs? Geronimo has been pretty bad all year, except for the likes of Little Rock. He doesn't get extended run because he hasn't improved much. He also shoots sub 30% for his career and around 17% this year from 3, he has very little business pulling up from out there. colonel06 1 Quote

Woodson didn't play Geronimo more because it was clear when he was in the game that he didn't have the size to cover these guys. It was a match-up problem. It had nothing to do with whether or not he is good enough or has the coach's trust. Luka Garza might have something to say about this! Quote

I think JG is getting about the PT that he's earned. The coaches put him in to give him a chance and then he doesn't play well so they yank him. He's very athletic but just not that skilled. Uh, ok Quote

I don’t know if it was this or that he made a defensive mistake and got pulled, or that the staff was going for offense, riding the scoring that Race was bringing (Ren didn’t get much run either) along with Kopp and Bates. I saw the latter but yeah that could’ve been the driver in this game. JG does play beyond his size though, blocks leader etc Quote

Yes he is a terrific freshman and the team misses him particularly X but from the comments I’m reading it sounds like he is the silver bullet for these hard losses we’ve had. Missing his overall talent was tough enough, missing an actual point guard once X got in foul trouble was game changing. HoosierHoops1, DChoosier, J34 and 3 others 6 Quote

Yeah a couple years ago Hurley said in a press conference you better get us now because we are coming. He wasn’t kidding. They got the Bigs to bang with teams and they got the shot makers and crazy athletic wings that can guard you. Impressive for sure colonel06 1 Quote

Yeah he was the Zags international recruiter. When he took the Zona job Ballo followed him there. Zags probably could of used him the last 2 years Quote
