We got a conference win that is likely one we need to be a bowl team.  We have games against Idaho and Western Kentucky to try to get the line issues corrected.

I went back and watched the penalty on our last drive that got waved off. Illinois had FOURTEEN guys on the field when we snapped the ball. No clue how the refs didn't notice.

I believe they picked it up because the official allowed the snap before it was supposed to be. I assume one official still had his arms out and the one at the quarterback let them go

By rule, when the offense subs the refs give the defense 3 seconds to send guys off. They didn’t give them their window to sub because they’re incompetent turds. The refs screwed it up initially but got it right in the end.

Yes we did. I was with you, in that I initially thought it was a horrible no-call, but that was not the case. In this instance the refs got it right"

I try not to expect too much from this program...just try and win half our games each year while not doing anything stupid that will draw ridicule on social media. 

 

Good start on the first one...not so much on the second.

Yeah not totally sure why they thought that was funny. It seems like something a bunch of Purdue students would do for the bucket game.

Oof that sucks... I mean he was our best lineman on a line that was already horrid... Honestly don't think it really matters in the grand scheme. Hopefully he can come back to a new position coach next year.
