If for some terrible reason Boogie decides to go to pUKe, give me your best headline. I am going with "Boogie pick is slimy, Cal's Kleenex is still sticky."

How 'bout "Blame it on the Boogie"

I don't like Cal one bit, but there isn't much need to be slimy anymore in college basketball.  NIL money kind of ended that.  Kentucky has NIL money.  Indiana has NIL money.  Fland will go wherever he feels is best for himself.  I hope it's Indiana and I think it is a better system for him from a pick and roll offensive standpoint.

Great point. NIL cash, leased new vehicles, and I’m sure much more included at huge programs. Much more important imo for programs to be known as trustworthy for what they say with PT and income + on court success, play style, and relationships. NIL is awesome for the players

Cassidy doesn't miss much lately, but he did miss with Bidunga and Givens recently.  Seems everyone missed with Givens.  He doesn't miss much though.

He did say in the interview that he wouldn’t post it as a Crystal Ball prediction because it could go either way but he did say that Alabama has been out of the running for awhile.  I got the impression that it’s close to 50/50 and that Kensucky was his best guess.

I want Fland at IU because I think he can be a difference maker. But I don't think a sophomore Cupps is a bad option at the point either. Absolutely want to accumulate talent, but I trust that the staff will do what is necessary address our needs.

Agree. As much as I  would love to get Boogie,  a sophomore Cupps, a senior Trey, and a freshman Liam doesn't sound too shabby either.

CJ, Kaleb, Sparks, Newton, and possibly Malik. Those are 8 very good players.

I still think we get Boogie, Queen, and a surprise pickup.

Of course I want top talent, and Boogie has it.

In terms of NIL money, there are the haves and the have nots.  IU and Kentucky are haves.  I don't think there a ton of cases where it comes down to exact dollars when the dollars are going to close in NIL -- at that point is more about the sell and how the player sees himself fitting in the program.  Hunter Dickinson left Michigan because of the lack of NIL there, and he's an exception to where he did milk NIL down to the last dollar it seems -- Kansas coaches 'guaranteed' the money while Calipari it was said wouldn't get into exact dollars and cents, just told him that Kentucky does take care of their players and could point to those in the program.  And I think the truth is that some boosters at UK are ready to move on from Cal and aren't ponying up as much as they could.  Like or dislike (I'm in the latter), he has been successful at UK -- from players getting drafted and into the NBA standpoint.  If I had to chose whether my son had to play for Cal or Bill Self, it would be Cal (obviously prefer it was neither).

I didn’t dig too much into him. I just knew he works at burnerball with Trilly. I didn’t look and see he’s just a part time guy there and really hasn’t predicted much. So I’m really hoping I jumped the gun and yall can look back and make fun of me for causing panic on Friday.

Well he just took the burnerball link OFF his Twitter bio. Too weird of timing to just be a coincidence right? Haha

He’s also a biased KU student. I’m still not buying anything yet. To much confidence from both sides.

He says he’s not a Kansas fan. I’ve never felt overly optimistic about this recruitment. Reading all the tea leaves, it seemed that Kentucky was his #1 choice but they had another kid higher up their board. Now that their top choice is no longer an option to reclass, the door was wide open. My gut says he’s off to Lexington.
