Been over 20 years since we have been to a FF.  Woody needs to change that.

It’s hard to do with 5-Star freshman who want to be 1 and done unless you have good experienced role players to play beside them.  That leadership is hard to get out of freshman and sophomores.  But I like the recruiting the Woodson has done in his short time there.  We need some of these freshman to stay more than 1 year though!

Personally, I think Crean and Archie wanted to, but they were prevented by the athletic department.

Within 2 years of being at UGA, Crean landed top-5 Anthony Edwards. I doubt he got him for free.

They wanted to and tried with some positives results, but neither one could walk the walk. One of the biggest asset IU Basketball has right now is a former successful NBA coach with credentials and a former IU All American stud who lived, lives and breathes Indiana BB.

We seem to be able to offer everything in recruiting right now.  NBA experience, NIL, Family Atmosphere, Connections to big time players in basketball and life, Agents, etc, etc.  The only thing we are lacking so far is a history of recent winning.  Everything else, we appear to be right there.

FYI  I have no idea if this is accurate but Kent Sterling said on his afternoon YouTube video that he has a source saying Boogie is going elsewhere towards the end of him talking:

No idea how accurate this is but definitely the first I have heard that this is going against IU.

Archie was 'swagless'

Crean needed to calm the swag-hell down.

Archie walked on water in Dayton.  Got teams to overachieve.

Then went to IU.  Don't believe he got the green light that Woody has.

For example...the recruiting staff, the ability to go after recruits no matter where they are.  And the freedom to get rid of players that were...ahem...counterproductive to teaming....was limited severely...apparently.

Sure he did not produce.  But the administration seemed to not support him.  One example was the PG he had recruited...and allegedly was told that IU did not want someone that Archie had inked for Dayton.

Archie seemed to me to be neutered by the AD.  Never got over that.

Woody is the right guy at the right time.  Maybe.  I hope.  If we start competing at the highest levels.  If we get a PG that is competitive...at the highest levels.  Let's see.

Come on Boogie.  We really think you are special.

So far Archie has underachieved at Rhode Island as well fans were less than pleased.  Might be an Archie thing more than an administrative thing

Time to start worrying? Sure, IU landed McNeeley but that was a whole hour ago and Fland still hasn't committed. Let's face it, Woodson has lost it and can't recruit. Who has he landed in the last hour since McNeeley? No one!

Either there needs to be a different color/ font for sarcasti posts or I need to get more sleep
