Can we add Jalen Haralson and Trent Sisley to that group?  They would be fun to watch win a final four with the others too, wouldn't they?

Yes! Thrown in Kiyan Anthony as well.  I don't want to get too excited yet. Someone else said it, I'll wait to celebrate when someone commits. But man, Woodson is building a monster I think. Remember how in 2012-2013 IU was a national title contender? I really think Woodson is going to have a few teams soon that can win it all, just like that one could have. And yes, I am high on Jakai Newton as well. I think he is going to be a really solid player. Hope Kaleb and CJ are difference makers too.

We really need a great PG in '24.

I was looking for a decent evaluation of Fland, the player.  The below linked article has a really in-depth evaluation.    It probably has been discussed before and linked: FILM STUDY: What could Boogie Fland bring to Indiana? - Sports Illustrated Indiana Hoosiers News, Analysis and More

He is looking for a system that will develop him best.  Referred to JHS and his improvements and opportunities at IU.

Above article says that if Fland is bumped on the way to the rim, it alters his flow way too much. Get in the weight room and get ready for the B1G and the NBA grind.  Maybe needs to slow it down his last two steps to the rim.  Defense also needs effort.  Outside shooting may need some improvement but since he shoots 81% from the line, and close to 34% from the 3, he is a hitter.

Other than that, he walks on water.  And makes his teammates better.  He is a smart PG and quick.

In marketing an intantible like Indiana basketball, it is a challenge for the coaches and players.  But Woodie is really good, obviously.  One never can stop closing a deal like this.  Bring on the Boogie.

Everyone should pump brakes when dealing with 17-18 year olds recruitments but as you know that isn’t going to happen.   Woody and staff have done everything fans would want them to do in these recruitments.  If they don’t go to IU it won’t be because of lack of involvement from the head coach or staff not busting their butts.  Hopefully they get it paid off

Bingo.

Good signs are super-fun, but commitments are what matters.
