When he was interviewed he seemed like a truly bright kid, but to me his interviews also showed that there was clearly something up.

It seemed like he was pretty often unavailable for games while at IU due to illness.  A few times each season for a a couple of games each time. But maybe I'm remembering it incorrectly.

Supposedly a Sinus surgery issue at Indiana. But the timeframe never seemed appropriate so many of us, including me, thought this was convenient cover for both parties.

Now I’m not so sure. Something is up. Either way, best wishes to Logan. Anyone that dons the Cream and Crimson will get my rooting interest until and unless they prove undeserved.

I forgot about the surgery but now that you mention it, yes, I thought it was bs at the time since even when he was available he wasn't getting much PT.

It looks like he would've been better of staying at IU even if he didn't play basketball because the rest of his school would've still been paid for. I hope it all works out for him.

Oh, for sure. That frame. The maturity. The combo forward skill set. He’ll look like a sure thing. But Ware, man, if he’s good mentally and he’s making shots, God, he could look like a #1 overall.

My guess is he deals with major anxiety and depression. 

If that's the case, I understand the need to just focus on getting your life right.

My guess too.

There’s so many “human issues” that happen behind the scenes in any organization, and especially when it’s a group of 18-22 year olds in a national spotlight.

Culture is so so very important; quality leadership can appropriately address and rise to the challenge of many of these problems. Grateful that it’s Mike Woodson at the helm at IU, and hoping that being close to family and (for now) out of basketball is a life improvement for Logan Duncomb.

Don Fischer was on local radio this afternoon. He said he was at practice yesterday and the scrimmage looked really bad. Also said the second team dominated the starters.

Fischer didn't say who the starters were but he did talked about how he feels that Cupp will be a special player. Also said Woodson wasn't happy and told the players that no starting spot is guaranteed

Good problem to have. I really think that the depth is real this year. Walker and Sparks will be great guys to have off the bench if the starters aren't getting it done. I still think to many IU fans are discounting Cupps. He's not a flashy player and won't put up big numbers. But what he will do is put his teammates in a position to make plays. He just wins.

I haven't seen anything about the Pro Day yet. That's kind of concerning since I'm pretty sure we saw several people reacting positively to TJD and JHS the same day as their Pro Day last year

Not exactly ringing endorsements. Mgbako is gonna be a good one. Ware, imo, is concerning to me. Hopefully he gets well.

The ball handler comment is interesting.

We can be good without Ware being the player we hoped he would be. However, he does, I think, define where our ceiling will be.
