Between Sleepers Media, Field of 68, Parrish, and other pundits the disrespect on Indiana this year blows my mind. Picked to finish 8-9th consistently. Sleepers Media did a top 5 backcourts in B1G and IU was left out. It was cited that Galloway has to play over 35mpg and that's bad for IU as they said he isn't that good. A successful season, per those sources, say IU beats Purdue..  and not projected to get into tournament. Cited that IU fans think we can make S16 and called IUBB faithful hysterical for it. Can someone please tell me why the national media is so low on IU

Who cares what the national media thinks about IU preseason?   No one knows anything about Indiana at this time.  Except that we lost the top 4 scorers from last year.  That and our starting PG was injured, and he is the starter remaining this year.  

Galloway is virtually unproven as a scorer.  So are the others.  As many have said...too many question marks on the roster.  Who are the scorers?  Do we defend?  Will Reneau foul too much?  Playing style?  Playing together?

We're coming off our first winning conference season in 7 years, and we went 12-8 in what was supposed to be a peak year. It's also been that many years since we finished with less than 10 losses. We have to find a way to raise this program's floor. It's hard to gain respect when you struggle to make the tournament for so long and always lose more than 10 games.

Then he needs to ******* shoot more! My biggest concern with this team is having a chance late in the shot clock.

Then CMW needs to give him the green light to shoot the first open shot, even if it’s a 3 point shot.  Quit shot faking and driving.  We aren’t a good shot faking team and the primary purpose on driving is to get to the free throw line and we haven’t been a good enough free throw shooting team the last two years and if the first exhibition game is any indication, we may not be good this year.  Now I am not saying we need to shoot 20-25 per game but at least shoot at least 15-20 times per game!
