WE GOT THE KING!

Someone tweeted this, given that Will Wade and others want to get dudes that already have played in the NBA. Made me chuckle a little.

Does he have 4 years or just the one graduate year?  LOL I would take him either way.

Haven’t been keeping super close track but I believe this is Lamar’s 4th workout(Dal, Sac, Atl) and Tucker’s 2nd or 3rd(Pacers and I think there was another one).

I think Wilkerson can stick for a team like Golden State. I can't see how DeVries with his athletic profile cam play in the league.

Trotter, who I seem to recall was lower on last year’s team than the consensus, though I might have that confused, is pretty high on this year’s team.

Quoting the last two paragraphs as they stand out for me as dead on accurate -- it comes down to Burton and Sherrell but this year's team has the pieces to compete in the top half of the B1G. I think they will. Only concern is injury / depth -- and yes that's a concern, but stay healthy and we should be locked in for the NCAA tourney, imo.

All of that is fine, but it doesn't matter all that much unless Burton and Sherrell are dudes. Burton, while undersized, is a stone-cold killer. DeVries can build this offense around him. Burton is a crafty, paint-touch machine who could get his shot blocked three times in a row and come right back looking to destroy on the next possession. Fearless is an understatement. Sherrell is a key X-Factor, though. He's shown flashes of being everything you want in a big fella. Sherrell hit 27 treys last year at a 34% clip, and that pick-and-pop game will be vital. He's helpful on the offensive glass, in the short-roll game and as a rim protector. But can he be tough and repeatedly impose his will?

Ultimately, an awesome lead guard, multiple serviceable bigs and numerous role players who can shoot should be more than enough to vault Indiana into the top half of the Big Ten with room for more if everything pops.

Always does this old heart good. Hope springs eternal.
Interesting little note here, maybe: I’ve never seem Samet listed as anything but 7’2”, so I assume that’s correct or really close. If so, Karvala looks to be all of 6’8”. One of the advantages of recruiting physically immature kids, they may still be growing.

Karvala looks bummed out.

Man, time flies.  Another year, another summer practice montage hype video set to a random trap beat.

They're making shots, they're dunkin' the ball, and they're closing out on shooters.  All in!

Upcoming videos: weight room, sand pit, and battle ropes.

Do we know if Clemens Sokolof has made it  to campus yet and able to participate in these early practices.
