Not to rub too much salt in the wound. But I have a good source that Dusty May was already calling and recruiting Braylon Mullins towards the end of his tenure at FAU. Obviously I don't think he expected a 5-star recruit to go to FAU. But he probably knew he'd be leaving for a big job in the Midwest, and wanted to get started on a key guy early.

Can't say with 100% certainty. But IMO, if we had moved on from Woodson after year 3, it is likely that May would have been coaching Mullins at IU this year.

Are you trying to make me barf up my kids' Easter candy? The Easter Bunny worked hard on delivering that.

Nice to see Rabby quoting himself here.  Quite the ego.

But, he makes a good point.  Thanks Jeff!

Gonna guess our 5mil dollar HC ain’t Flyin’ coach.

OK, I'll play along what is this all about? Flying to Belgrade in the middle of portal season. Could we actually be getting an international big? Maybe Luigi Suigo or Lazar Stojkovic? This is interesting would sure like to know more.

Amsterdam is somewhere near Finland and Ognjen Srzentic is a heavily talked about wing from Serbia. Add Mikka and Srzentic to Sherrell and Burton this week DD you'll definitely have my attention.  Nobody goes to Serbia for vacation. Amsterdam yes.

We can call this one the "tyappleg classic".

Went to BG my freshman year before transferring to IU.  Pretty excited for this one.

My wife spent a year at BG as well, back in the day. Later, in 2003-04, watched Dakich-coached Bowling Green take on PFW (IPFW back then). Dakich got T’d up 16 seconds into the game and Bowling Green lost. It was one of the two D-1 wins IPFW had that season, lol.

Football was more exciting than basketball my year there. (It was the exact opposite when I went to IU -- that 2012/2013 team was my senior year). They ended up like 7-6 but they were a fun watch.  Freddie Barnes set the then NCAA record for catches in a year at 155.

"The tyappleg/Dan Dakich classic"

I would accuse you of being Dakich, but:

  1. That would be incredibly insulting, even if it were true, and
  2. There is no way that Dakich could pull off the façade of sane and personable for as long as you have on the board.

So maybe the game should be called "The tyappleg/Dakich (who are not the same guy) Classic"
