But I have a good source that Dusty May was already calling and recruiting Braylon Mullins towards the end of his tenure at FAU. Obviously I don't think he expected a 5-star recruit to go to FAU. But he probably knew he'd be leaving for a big job in the Midwest, and wanted to get started on a key guy early. Can't say with 100% certainty. But IMO, if we had moved on from Woodson after year 3, it is likely that May would have been coaching Mullins at IU this year. Are you trying to make me barf up my kids' Easter candy? The Easter Bunny worked hard on delivering that. jermhoosierfan 1 Quote

Flying to Belgrade in the middle of portal season. Could we actually be getting an international big? Maybe Luigi Suigo or Lazar Stojkovic? This is interesting would sure like to know more. Quote

Amsterdam is somewhere near Finland and Ognjen Srzentic is a heavily talked about wing from Serbia. Add Mikka and Srzentic to Sherrell and Burton this week DD you'll definitely have my attention. Nobody goes to Serbia for vacation. Amsterdam yes. Quote

Dakich got T’d up 16 seconds into the game and Bowling Green lost. It was one of the two D-1 wins IPFW had that season, lol. HoosierHoopster, str8baller, tyappleg and 1 other 2 2 Quote

(It was the exact opposite when I went to IU -- that 2012/2013 team was my senior year). They ended up like 7-6 but they were a fun watch. Freddie Barnes set the then NCAA record for catches in a year at 155. IUHoosierJoe 1 Quote

"The tyappleg/Dan Dakich classic" I would accuse you of being Dakich, but: That would be incredibly insulting, even if it were true, and There is no way that Dakich could pull off the façade of sane and personable for as long as you have on the board. So maybe the game should be called "The tyappleg/Dakich (who are not the same guy) Classic" tyappleg and LIHoosier 2 Quote

Honestly, I thought he would be more expensive. He has $15k added to his bonus every year along with an Adidas gear with a automobile provided by the school. Bloomington has to be a cheaper to live in or around than Indy, so that money can go a long way. "His deal will also hand Carr a retention bonus each season, beginning with a $50,000 payment provided Carr is still employed on April 30, 2027. That bonus will increase by $15,000 each year Carr remains employed on that date, with the increase built into those automatic one-year extensions as well. So, Carr will receive a $65,000 retention bonus in 2028, an $80,000 bonus in 2029 and so on." HoosierHoopster and Demo 2 Quote

They’re cheap, but most front offices seem to be structured like MLM scheme where any financial benefit seems to drop off drastically after the top guy or two. It definitely could be a pay raise for him. Outside of the top few jobs, I think so the money has historically been on the sideline. Quote
