that sucks -- but, with Woodson gone and DeVries bringing in his own staff, DeVries is running his bball team, Buckner's past support of Woodson is now largely irrelevant.

Let's hope that he doesn't start to stick his nose in the program if CDD has a little hiccup in the next 3 years.

Q.B. since he is going to be around may just decide sometime in the future to bring M.W. back in some capacity because of his new found professional brilliancy….. or Q.B. realizing in his own mind of his distinguished decision making In the future may have another name up his sleeve to push to bring on board.  That’s the way elitism works.

^^ Gotta like the (correct) descriptions of our 10 new players:'

IU's transfer group is ranked No. 10 nationally by 24/7Sports. It consists of 6-8 forward Sam Alexis from national champion Florida, Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year Tayton Conerway from Troy, two-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year Tucker DeVries from West Virginia and Drake, two-time All-Conference USA guard Lamar Wilkerson from Sam Houston State, Atlantic 10 All-Conference forward Reed Bailey from Davidson, All-Atlantic Sun Conference guard Jasai Miles from North Florida, fellow North Florida standout Josh Harris, Coastal Athletic Association All-Rookie player Nick Dorn, guard Conor Enright from DePaul and Drake, and guard Jason Drake from Cleveland State

Reading between the lines on some comments from Hulls when I met him a few years ago, I don't think Woodson practices were especially intense.

I remember the video they posted on the first day of practice last year. It really said all that needed to be said about a Mike Woodson team/practice.

All right; Ill be that guy:

EVERY social media feed video from EVERY era of IUBB (including the Woodson era) shows best case scenario boxing out, team unity, work ethic, etc.

The proof is in how this team exhibits those characteristics against top-tier competition. I am optimistic and cannot wait to see, but only time will tell.

They are hype videos, but CDD seems to want them to work hard.  I don't think he will let them give up specially seeing how the Pacers don't give up till the clock is at 0.  Being not so far away from that scene should help inspire that in them.

Oh ****. Well I certainly stand corrected!

Makes me miss Malik Reneau 'not'.

To be fair, that video very well could’ve been a best case practice scenario for last year’s team… but, that’s why literally every single person in today’s video is different.

I have to admit: I always get hoodwinked. I watch these videos, get ramped up and then get extremely let down when the season starts and we actually miss shots.

After seeing those clips, I can't help but wonder what it'd be like to go throughout an entire season and not miss!

Since the Fire Woodson thread, or whatever it’s called now is locked, didn’t know where else to put this…

With all the vitriol about Buckner in that thread, surprised that this forum hasn’t commented on the fact that he was re-upped by our current Governor for another term on the BOT.

Talking about that is getting people banned on PEEGs this week.

So pathetic. Opinions against the norm don’t seem to be accepted anymore

There’s been plenty of talk about that here in the BOT thread, and no one has been banned lol.
