Nothing like being on the other end of the biggest blowout of the day. What a terrible day for Indiana basketball after playing so hard in Indy. Last time I felt like this was 1996 when we were undefeated and then got waxed by Kentucky by almost 35. Embarrassing. 

Overall, year was good. Made the tourney. Finished the season strong. Beat Purdue. Can't complain about too much, but a loss this bad definitely leaves a stank on the season. 

I'm going to be happy that I won't have to watch a few of these players playing again next year. No need to be specific, but I'm spent with a few of these guys.

Same. I’ve been watching them and Gonzaga for years. Actually Gonzaga is what turned me in to them because they kind of rose up to being a rival and we’re a good watch. Been watching Gonzaga since late night ESPN2 days with guys like santangelo and Casey Calvery. 
 

That said, I thought we had a decent shot, but we were spent. It happens.

Next year when we beat a higher seeded team in the tournament we're going to have players reference this game.  They're going to talk about the bad taste in their mouth from this game and how they swore it would never happen again.

Bates in and gets some buckets and does some things. Could we really not have ran with him over Kopp in the first half? Result likely wouldn't have been different, but what does Kopp provide that Bates couldn't?
