Money, money,  money.    Each conference has the choice to send their regular season winner to the tournament with the at-large big.    They don’t because of the money they would be missing out on if the conference tourneys didn’t have the auto-bid

Portland OR is Thu/Sat, the days are set not tip times or network.

Just checked the CBS/NCAA site and Tuesday games times are 6:30 * ~ 9 pm on Tru TV. 

Does anybody know if the IU radio network covers the tourney? If so, I found a great way to sync up Fisch on the call for all of us streamers. Will be glad to share if Fisch is doing the radio.

IU Ladies get a 3 seed and play in Bloomington. 1st game is vs Charlotte and 2nd round is pUKe vs Princeton. Because of course.

The women go hosed as well. We have to play UConn as well.

I assume that the first game being Tuesday instead of having a Thursday/Friday open makes it less likely that JG will be good to go.

It's not the UConn team of old.  They lost to two unranked teams this year.

This is why I hate just using metrics to determine the selections.  If you just watch the teams there is no way Iowa St. is better than IU.  They were 7-11 in conference and lost their first conference tournament game.  I get you have to use some metrics but give me people who knows basketball and pick the best teams. We listen to some computer geeks who never played sports in their life.  Rant over.

Indiana is actually higher than Iowa St on kenpom.

If Indiana can get past Wyoming and St. Mary’s it’s the UCLA game that worries me more than Baylor.

We got jobbed. Glad we finally get in. We could have been a 3 or 4 seed this year if we win more of our close ones. If we play our best we should beat Wyoming and give St. Mary’s a strong test.

Go figure, but whatever. Just win Tuesday.
