Longtime IU athletics employee John Harmon passed away this morning JD Cambell just announced on Twitter. He has handled the sound, the shot clock, the scoreboard, and the lighting for IU athletics for the last 30 years. He was one hell of a good dude. Always had a smile on his face, usually had a shot of Jim Beam in his office drawer, and had so many great stories. He was a personal friend that I've known most of my life growing up in Ellettsville. He's going to be missed. He also hated Purdue.
