Class of '66 Old Fart Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 I'm happy he's doing well but do we really think he'd be putting up Heisman candidate numbers if he'd stayed at IU? Stuhoo 1 Quote

Demo Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Great to hear. May have to step away from cbb this afternoon and watch Penix at the combine. Quote

I wouldn't take him before the 4th, but that doesn't mean I don't respect him as a player and person. Kid has had 3 MAJOR injuries, is not a stellar athlete, and struggles to make plays with his feet.... I think he can be one fantastic backup in the league and don't take that comment lightly... being in the top 32-40 people in the world in your profession is incredibly impressive. Side question: Every time I watched Washington I thought Rome Odunze was a monster. He looks to my untrained eye every bit as good as Harrison Jr. but football people seem to pretty unanimously put Harrison Jr on a different level. What am I not seeing? Quote

Well--- being considered the 2nd best WR to MHJ is a pretty solid spot to be as an athlete, right? To be real-- I really don't know man. Quote
LamarCheeks Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 Now we'll see if he'll be very good at Atlanta. Taken No. 8 by the Falcons. Demo, thebigweave, Banksyrules and 4 others 7 Quote

I'm sure dogs in the ATL aren't too keen on the idea of drafting a black, left-handed QB named Michael.. but hey.... J34, thebigweave, Crimson and Cream and 2 others 1 4 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 They gave Cousins a billion dollars guaranteed and then used the #8 pick on a quarterback lmao. Just hilariously bad decision making. And I doubt Penix is too pleased about it either, honestly. Quote
