Yikes. Need to find someone who can be productive when X is out. This pretty much illustrates the problem with +/-. X played most of his minutes with TJD. Those other guys with Durr and Geronimo. Thought X was great tonight but Lander and Bates were not bad for 2nd unit guys…especially considering how young they are. T White, HoosierHoopster, MemphisHoosier and 2 others 5 Quote

Popular Post Capt. Crimson Posted November 28, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 28, 2021 Just want to post and say I was here. Amazing game. Even when we were down the team fought right back. Trayce was amazing. Proved he’s the guy we always thought he would be. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Joe_hoopsier, 323SGrant, Stuhoo and 5 others 7 1 Quote
DWB Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 It will be interesting to see if any other team tries to run us into the ground like Marshall did. Seemed to work for a while until Woody made some adjustments. Cuse doesn't run all that much. That will be a completely different kind of test. We'll see how well me move without the ball in that one against their zone. Quote

We played our game, not Marshall’s game compared to the last four years. Capt. Crimson 1 Quote

Brass Cannon Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 We moved up a spot to 31 on Kenpom but fell 8 spots in defense and we fell 3 spots on Bart Torvik to be at 16 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 IU players to score 40-plus points ... 56 points -- Jimmy Rayl (twice) 48 -- Mike Woodson (who's that guy???) 47 -- Don Schlundt (twice); Steve Downing 45 -- George McGinnis 44 -- Rayl (twice) 43 -- Trayce Jackson-Davis 42 -- Steve Alford; Dick Van Arsdale; Walt Bellamy 41 -- Alan Henderson; Scott May; Downing; McGinnis; Rayl; Schlundt (twice) 40 -- Ted Kitchel TJD now holds the single-game scoring record at Assembly Hall.
