Why isn’t this topic pinned at the top of this forum? Too much attention on guys not wanting to be a Hoosier and not enough attention given to Sisley who has committed

He may end up being great but to be fair he was the lowest ranked of the kids we were after who made decisions this fall. Hopefully he proves to be as good as those kids we skip over but go elsewhere and we all regret it.

"There’s a workhorse coming to Bloomington. Sisley is most comfortable when he’s in the paint doing the dirty work and grinding through contact, yet still mixing it up to knock down jump shots. He won the battle of attrition on Saturday posting 17 points and nine rebounds in the win for the Florida Eagles. If Montverde is going to be top tier this season, it will be because Sisley is an intricate piece and he’s extremely capable"

Reneau, Sisley, Tucker, Carlyle and Rice

 Because it’s something positive

A couple of things that jumped out at me:

Trent has already put on 10-15 lbs in the upper body.

He looks like he's already picked up their offense really well and helps direct the other players.

Momtverde doesn't have a true pg or legit center for him to play off of and most of the game he was playing pretty much the same position he played at HH.

Playing against better competition and the player development program there will advance his game considerably but I'm not sure he's going to get a ton of minutes on the perimeter.

Wonder if this was a previously scheduled visit or I better get my butt to MVA and have a face-to-face with Trent?

Indiana’s Mike Woodson is at Monteverde Academy today for Top-50 senior and commit Trent Sisley, a source told @Stockrisers.

"Hey Tom, or Tim, well anyway Todd, Mike Woodson figured he should get here before his salary gets diverted to the new football coach Chris or Chad or whatever"

No idea what the implications are for Trent and how he'll be used at MVA, but his teammate, Caleb Gaskins, announced this weekend he's leaving MVA and will transfer to Columbus HS (FL) and play with the Boozing twins.  The apparent connection is they were AAU teammates but the timing still seems odd to me.

Pretty crummy thing to do.

Would venture to guess that Sisley, Hudson Greer and Gabe Weis are getting into his minutes. Columbus is crazy top heavy talent-wise with the Boozers and Richardson but not a ton after that. So even though Columbus is probably better there are probably more minutes there.
