Of course. Need Haralson at IU? Nope. Because it doesn’t matter who you miss on, it matters who you get. lillurk, Artie86, RaceToTheTop and 2 others 5 Quote

Really would like to have had him, but in today's landscape if you have NIL you move on because you can afford to. mdn82, Home Jersey, lillurk and 1 other 4 Quote
mdn82 Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Best of luck kid. Not an easy place to win or draw interest. Good kid. Good family. Mullins you are up. 94Bulldog, Home Jersey, ALASKA HOOSIER and 4 others 7 Quote

Hoosier Guy Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Just absolute lunacy. That’s a big loss for IU. You lose the top ranked player in the state to Notre Dame? Just bad. With that said, good luck to Haralson. Banksyrules 1 Quote

Popular Post JerryYeagley23 Posted September 25, 2024 Popular Post Posted September 25, 2024 We’ll be alright. Like I said, brighter days ahead. Think we have a five star coming our way in October if nothing changes. ALASKA HOOSIER, thebigweave, Home Jersey and 9 others 12 Quote

If you don't, you aren't casting a wide enough net nor shooting high enough. Yeah, don’t disagree with the caveat that prioritization matters. You should definitely be in contact with a good range of players in a given class, but elite programs (Kansas, Duke, UNC, and UConn recently) probably land their “top” targets more often than not. Everyone misses on a few each cycle though, and I’m not even positive Haralson was one of our “top” targets this cycle necessarily. The sky is not falling because of this, that’s for sure. Quote

TheWatShot Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Wouldn't surprise me if someone convinced him Woodson may not be around by next season if things don't improve here. Just the reality of having an old coach under pressure. I think Sisley wants to play for IU more than he wants to play for Woodson. I've been craving an elite point guard ever since Yogi and we just can't ever seem to land one. It's frustrating. Quote

Doubtful unless Shrews gets hired elsewhere, but this is the precise reason he’s going to Notre Dame, to be the BMOC from day 1 with little resistance. pumpfake and lillurk 2 Quote

Not trying to be argumentative, but unless you know the kid personally, don’t see how you can have any basis for the bolded part. It’s basically the same as me saying I think he prefers eggs and bacon to pancakes for breakfast. In terms of elite point guards, I’ve been dying for IU to land one too. Pretty sure Myles Rice will fit that description after this season… let’s hope anyway! Artie86 1 Quote
