Lmaooo oh god this is why I don’t like getting my hopes up about IU football. Penix looks fine physically so I don’t think that’s the problem, but he’s been beyond terrible.

Playing a team like Iowa in your first game back from a season ending injury is not a good way to start the year.

Just stating why some of his struggles could be happening. The rest of the team like the OL there is no reason for not showing up like this. 
 

The more likely reality is the team started buying into the hype. Which isn’t good and today’s result is evidence of that.

It’s certainly not, but it’s everyone’s first game. He got hurt on 11/28, which is around when non-bowl eligible teams’ seasons end during regular seasons. Idk how much he’s been able to practice so maybe that’s it.
