Glenn is a 3 level power wing who can play at any pace and in any lineup. He is exactly the player Justin Smith, and, apparently his dad, thought he was.

Hometown kid was always going to be a tough pull despite reports IU was a serious threat.  All IU did was put itself in the game and hoped that the trouble Louisville might get in was a factor.    If Louisville wasn’t  in trouble this isn’t even a contest.  It would of been Louisville by a mile.  Even with the extra trouble it ended up being hometown Louisville  by a mile.

Would us getting Schifno and having Banks have anything to do with us not getting Glenn?

I don't think so, especially as it relates to JHS--a primo pg is a plus for recruiting other positions.

Well I got this one totally wrong because I thought he was going to choose IU.  I am surprised and disappointed with this news and wonder what sped up his time table for making a decision

No surprise. I think the only Louisville player that we've have ever had is Remy. The best of Louisville most always stays home.

We definitely don't have much success there but two of the best Louisville kids ended up out of state.Ballard's Jeff Lamp was ready to commit to the Hoosiers when Terry Holland called and offered his head coach a job.Lee Raker was already committed to Virginia at the time but all three ended up there. That one really stung.

Alan Houston also followed his Dad to Tennessee or maybe it was the other way around.
