Question for those who know...can a player still use the facilities at IU if they are in the transfer portal? Obviously its 50/50 if he comes back but I was just curious.

I’m normally a wait-and-see type before I commit to a strong reaction...but this is a bad beat and an even worse sign.

Hmmm. Could be useful, honestly. This can signal to Dolson to really tread carefully with his candidates. If I’m him I’m not wanting to hire a mass exodus.

It is the uncertainly and Amman has got to do what's best for his career.  Scott needs to quell the uncertainty, at least privately with the team -- these are the candidates and here is the schedule for a decision.  Then they can tweet it all to us. :)

Definitely smart I would have my son do the same thing if he was in this position.   Won’t have to sit out if he goes and if he and the new coach are not on the same page then he has a head start on what his next move is

True, but isn't player pressure what influenced IU to hire Davis in 2000? I don't want a mass exodus or a complete rebuild, but the decision to stay or go by Armaan Franklin, TJD, etc can't decide who or when the next coach is hired. Dolson needs to get it right. Hopefully that includes keeping the best players too.
