Popular Post BehindTheBench Posted March 13 Popular Post Posted March 13 1 minute ago, OKHOOSIER said: That’s simply not believable. Honestly, the whole squabbling over a couple million here or there or Brad trying to make up his mind for four weeks just isn’t something that makes the slightest sense. It’s more absurd than the notion he’d actually still be Scott’s guy. It’s either done, or it was maybe a week at most of negotiation and we moved on. There is zero chance this has gone back and forth for this long with Stevens. At minimum, there was a verbal. That’s facts. Period. And others can vouch for that, but I won’t speak for them. china423, cybergates, Chris007 and 10 others 4 9

Kentuckysucks Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Goodman is a clown but he hates IU with a passion. Wants nothing more than to see us look like fools. He's also well connected and has great sources. He's known the whole time guys like Brad and Drew were never remotely an option. We tried warning you. You bought into the nonsense yet again. The good news is that BM seems like a solid coach. He could definitely be our Bo Ryan for the next 20+ years. An equally good chance that he completely implodes. We shall see. But at there's hope unlike with a Brownell or McDermott. Hornsby Posted March 13 Posted March 13 It’s literally the AD’s job to attract coaches. He has a ton of positives to sell to candidates. If the best that he can attract to IU is a D2 coach with 1 year under his belt in a mediocre mid major conference, that says a lot about his abilities. He doesn’t get any excuses this time around. People on here may love mccollum but if that's honestly the best he can do count me as not impressed with dolson. Especially with all we have to offer.Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk Scotty R 1

I have no insider contacts, but if I did and they have gone quiet, I wouldn’t look at it as bad and I would disregard any speculation on social media. I’m not saying it won’t be McCollum. I do think that anyone reporting he is a front runner on social media is basing it on……other social media. Chris007, HoosierSadaseci and taco corp 3

He can sell as much as he wants. Brad Stevens was never coming here. National guys that are actually plugged in have said other P5 guys don’t want it. You can’t force people to want the job. If the young gun who wins everywhere he goes and who other coaches turn to for advice on the basketball court wants the job I’m gonna support the hell out of him. cybergates, Kentuckysucks, FWHoosier84 and 4 others 7

Maybe they turned him down so he’s going for the buy low sell high candidate based on comments from many of his peers as well as his results.
