Pick up the phone . Call Will Wade offer him 7.5 - 8 million a year and let’s get back to winning basketball games please ! I am not saying Dolson's a genius, but it seems like he'd know if Stevens was really an option or not pretty quickly. I've never really understood this "let me think about it..." notion. He either wants the job or he doesn't. I don't think Stevens would be this wishy washy. So if he wants the job and the contract demands were met, he'd give a commitment pretty quickly. If he didn't want the job, I don't think he'd play games and string IU along. taco corp, JustWinBaby, OKHOOSIER and 5 others 8

Fran has survived 15 years despite making the tournament only 7 times, winning 50.4% of is conference games, and never making it to the sweet 16. Sounds like McCollum just wants a job he can hide out and coach without being the center of attention. Nothing wrong with that, but this isn’t the job for him if that’s the case. Did Tyler Durden tell you that?

Alistair Smash Posted March 12, 2025 Posted March 12, 2025 I will be glad when this is search is done. Not only because I want a coach in place, but I’m tired of laughing like a fourth grader and confused too often by references to BS and BM. WayneFleekHoosier, cybergates and Hoosierfanyuh 1 2
Hornsby Posted March 12, 2025 Posted March 12, 2025 Bo Ryan went from D3 to Milwaukee to Wisconsin in less than 3 years.Yep one guy. The mccollum love really is just odd to me after the last 8 years and archie. If he is all we can get maybe but man there isn't one proven coach we could pay 8 million to come?Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk Hoosierfanyuh, Indiana8585 and HoosierInParadise 3

DSUMMITT Posted March 12, 2025 Posted March 12, 2025 Maybe this is all a smoke screen to hire Will Wade? SD goes after (or leaks) possible coaches that he knows are not interested - thoroughly going through the process - he knows Wade is still under a 'show cause' but has a great resume that he has to sell to the BOT/Donors - this way he can go in front of the board and say 'unfortunately this is the best we could get'.... Joking of course (unless it happens this way then I'm claiming it all along)... Hoosierfanyuh 1

They both win at every stop they’ve ever been at, they both have complete confidence in themselves, they both have built programs up. Cignetti had a lot of experience at the high major level as a player and coach before becoming a head coach. He was on the staff for Saban that landed the Hightower/Jones class, he was also QB coach for NC State and recruited Philip Rivers. This is McCollum's only DI year ever. His team is done playing and most likely there just for support. Some speculation was because he’s coached w/ BS before. Nothing concrete, sort of Cody Zeller esk with assumptions
