Dolson wasn’t the reason IU hired those clowns.
Dolson is limited in who he can go aftercthough. I'm guessing the only realistic options are flavors of the month or bronwell. May isn't coming

Nothing against him but I scroll past his post when I see his name. I honestly remember anything positive. I'm sure some do that to my post too.

Good. You don't have to read them. I kind of skip yours now too on stevens and him coming to iu. I don't engage in fantasies for a second time   You had me going four years ago but not his time around

I think I missed it yesterday, but do the Indiana high schools / AAU programs have issues with Drew?   I recall people saying things like that in the past.  Was it just his cheating at Baylor back in the day?

On the flip side, NIL certainly alleviates that.

Something about deporting Perea if he didn't sign with Bayler.Think maybe an assistant was involved.

Please return to the Fire Woody thread from whence you came and pollute it with as many negative posts about Quinn, Brownell, and Woody as you would like. This is the fun time rational thinking thread.

I think it’s just that everyone wants insider info and for the first time in my life I have it but nobody wants to hear it because it isn’t good news and that drives me crazy. That’s really it. I’m sorry for the abrasiveness. Will try to be better.

and will try to just  beat the McCollum drum instead.

We've heard what you said.

I don't believe most of what is posted here or anywhere without independent verification.

And I don't believe the Brad Stevens' to IU rumors until he signs.

It is just talk so far.

Until someone posts something that is verifiable.

And McCollum has won and looks good.  Except that he hasn't beaten a team yet that is in the top 50.  Or run a big program.  Or really recruited the big time.  Or worked with NIL.

And don't go crazy because other people don't believe what they can't see or experience themselves.  If you are like that, then you are letting other people control you.  There's way too much of that stuff going around today in the media and politics.

Question: Does anyone know the benefit of negotiating a lower buyout if you have no plans of leaving? I cannot really make sense of it. Not trying to insinuate with this question just trying to understand

The only reason I could think (outside of planning to make yourself available):

”Hey everyone, my buyout is very reasonable, come dangle offers my way so I can leverage them for a higher salary”

Maybe the thinking on his part is that 18.5 million buyout makes it completely unlikely that anyone would be able to hire him away, therefore unlikely that ISU would feel much pressure to further increase his salary.

FWIW, I am thinking that IUBB shot map is likely a real improvement from last year's.

It's pretty similar which is quite funny.

But our division ranks this current year are disgusting. It's pretty shameful to be this bad across the board with this much talent.

That makes sense. Just a strange thing to try to wrap my head about. Probably why agents are paid the big bucks.

If we are going to discuss ACC coaches - personally I'd take Forbes over Brownell - older but I do think the roof is higher with him.

Plus he was known as a really good recruiter plus when he was an asst each school seemed to be very successful -
