I've been struggling to put together my Wishlist of candidates and I finally did so today. I kept Jay Wright and Tony Bennett off the list because I think they are done with the current state of the game but I would love either. I also didn't add Dusty May because of the recent extension, but he was my #1 before that occurred. 1) Brad Stevens (obviously #1 and many believe not likely, but I am hopeful). 2) Scott Drew (if he can build a program in Baylor, Indiana should be easy) 3) Chris Beard (I get the controversy and the unlikelihood, but he would get this program rolling) 4) Josh Schertz - I just really like the guy. I think he gets it and I loved watching his Indiana State teams play. Lots of fun. Does he have the personality for the big stage? 5) Everyone else is a tie for me (Grant McCasland, Ben McCollum, TJ Otz, Mark Few) I firmly believe all these guys would kill it here. Obviously lots has happened since then but tomorrow, I believe, is the two weeks “deadline.” Now of course if he wants more time you make it work.
