Chris can you please slip a note under Dolson's office door letting him know Mark Turgeon is leaking information, and he should not be trusted.

I don't like to bother Scott very often but in this case it might not be a bad idea.

If IU was even slightly considering mark turgeon (they arent), they should just go ahead and keep woodson

Obviously not going into specifics but it would be REALLY weird if they were talking like they’re talking and had someone they considered a likely hire right now

That does sound really weird

So you are saying they are courting more than one person? Rabby has said they have reached out to at least 10 agents of coaches

So you have knowledge into how IU is conducting its search when you say things like “exploring like they’re exploring … right now”? And you have 1 degree of separation from Turgeon? What’s your take on if IU hired Turgeon?

If we have to go that far down the list I’m very concerned.

I'm sure they have cast a wide net, if for any other reason to make it appear like they did due diligence

30K foot interpretation

IU is conversing with Brad and his associates, but lower-key fact-finding is also in the works with a few other candidates.

Perhaps we've gotten a little too ahead of ourselves as a fan base with how far along the conversations are with Brad.

I'm starting to think this person might work for the search firm IU is using. They are located out east by you

I can’t speak to other aspects of the process because I don’t know. What I do know is there’s nothing about the nature of the pursuit that would suggest to me they think that some Plan A or B is imminent or likely.

No, like I said, connection is via a mark connection specifically.

And look everyone, I know mark may not excite a lot of the base the way others might. But he’s an accomplished college coach and those aren’t easy to find, and again there’s some feeling it’s a good fit from an intangibles perspective.

2 sweet 16 visits in 25 years isn’t exactly accomplished…won some games though

It isn't that he isn't an accomplished coach. My only issue is that they should have many, many choices in mind before they would be getting to him.

It turns out all it took to get 30-40 pages in a day was for somebody to come in here and claim Mark Turgeoon is a serious candidate.

I'm literally speechless

TURGEON?!?!?! Where the flying heck did he come from in this search. Not a name I have heard in forever.

It came from every IU fans nightmares.
