McCollum won 4 D2 titles and outright MVC conference champs his first year in D1 with a rotation of 7 D2 and JUCO guys. That’s not nothing. I said "arguably far more qualified." Here's why: Unlike McCollum, Luke Murray has been on the sideline for two straight DIVISION ONE National Championship games. Unlike McCollum, Luke Murray has been the lead recruiter for Division One players. McCollum not only hasn't landed D1 players, he currently has a roster of D2 holdovers and JUCO recruits.. Unlike McCollum, Luke Murray has been the lead recruiter for a whole bunch of 5 star recruits. Unlike McCollum, Luke Murray has been a key participant in landing top level portal players, and has dealt with their agents. Unlike McCollum, Luke Murray has been instrumental in designing the offense that has won two straight DIVISION ONE National Championships. Unlike McCollum, Luke Murray has been mentored by a Hall of Fame college coach. Unlike McCollum, Luke Murray has been the lead game planner for games against ranked Division One teams, tourney games, and the very best ion the profession. So would a guy like Luke Murray be a risk? Sure! But is McCollum, a guy that's been a fantastic program builder but has never even sniffed a major program, a higher risk? In my opinion - very much so. lillurk and woodenshoemanHoosierfan 2

Yeah, the innocent explanation is that he wanted to catch a game at ND, and now was the best time since the waiver deadline recently past. ND has a home game Saturday, too, but the Celts are hosting the Lakers that night. That having been said, I do think it was interesting rumors were flying last night before it was discovered he was in the state. lillurk, Artie86 and thebigweave 3

Popular Post Chris007 Posted March 6, 2025 Popular Post Posted March 6, 2025 I'm sorry a lot is going on and being said behind the scenes in Bloomington. It would give more context to Brad at the game and a few other things. We'll see if it is something or not. IUFB and I had some conversations yesterday, he checked out some info and ran it past some people. The Undertaker then popped up. 8bucks, GP711, thebigweave and 21 others 21 2 1
Popular Post ronzo4IU Posted March 6, 2025 Popular Post Posted March 6, 2025 Brad to IU makes perfect sense. He never won a national championship at the college level but he’s accomplished that in the NBA. Coming back to the college game to coach Indiana and resurrect us from the bowels of hell and finally win a national championship is the stuff legends are made of, and the challenge he has probably been longing for. Sure! I don’t disagree one bit. Still for all the flight tracking that goes on in this thread, we see hes back in Indiana. Anything with IU is probably more likely being discussed elsewhere. Not sure how much time Brad spent in Indiana. But nice he’s choosing to spend time in his home state, even if only for the obvious reason. Stuhoo and lillurk 2
