No. A school is free to rescind a scholarship offer at any time. They rarely do because of how bad it would look. But in the case of a coaching change, it’s sort of expected that all bets are off.

Yes.  But they can still stay on and get an academic scholarship right?  Grant Gelon could’ve stayed I think after he got Creaned by Archie.

Must honor scholarship but doesn't have to be on team

Likely only after signing NLI and/or enrolled, right? Surely a verbal commitment to a past coach doesn’t entitle a recruit to a scholarship.

Good evening all,'

It's been quite some time..

As I've garnered some recent inside information, I wanted to share the knowledge with the BTB family.

As most of you know, I've held a close relationship with Coach Woodson over the last 4 years; be it our Saturday iHop visits, golfing, and sharing coacoa at my log cabin residence..

it pains me to see him go..

With that being said, he has let me in on the likely candidates for the position.

From the words of Scott Dolson, "Archie Miller is the answer."

Dolson doesn't believe we gave Miller the time that he needed to bring this program back to glory, and believes that Scott Drew's recent testacle surgery would make him a liability.

While I do believe that Archie has this job locked up, my personal co-sign for the job goes to Andrew Toole, head coach of the Robert Morris University Colonials.

Has he shown success? No.

Does he have any type of proven track record? No, he doesn't.

What he does have, is an absolute smokeshow of a wife; I mean an absolute rocket, which leads me to believe that Toole has a shaft like a Subway Cold Cut..

This is the type of energy we need to see within this program..

Do we truly believe Coach Knight wasn't packing an absolute lantern between his limbs?

Bow to me, I am the Barrel.

So good to have you back, BR.  Hope that you got that thing under your belt under control this time.

Thanks for the Archie Miller is anointed insider information.  There are so few of us left that thought that Archie walked on water in Dayton.  And when at IU...they just tossed him into Showalter Fountain then the Jordan River then dragged him through Fee Lane and threw him off of the Library.  So very sad.

Just like PeeWee Herman, Archie is rebounding.  Nice.

My tidbit is it’s exhausting living in the same town as your aging mom. Dang smoke detector got me out of the house. But she doesn’t know who the next coach is going to be.

Oh she knows, she's keeping it all to herself!!!!! Apply the reverse mom guilt and get that info!

Watching this Auburn/ Ole Miss game and would be happy with either coach. Both teams are very mature and play hard on both ends and a real commitment to defense. Beard’s team dead last in rebounding in SEC yet how’s he 8-6 in league play? Hmmm

Not sure. i know others on here are better equipped to answer that than me. I would say though since we offered i would assume it should be honored
