That means that IU controls the tickets like a home game. It's possible IU wanted that for some reason (I think it was Cal but just saying it's possible). It does seem like it would be better to have both home games in Bloomington, at least to me. Yep - IU controls ticket distribution for that game. UK will get an allotment but nowhere near the old half & half arrangement in past years in Indy. And, IU will get the money from any tickets sold to Kentucky. lillurk and Chris007 2

JustWinBaby Posted February 26 Posted February 26 29 minutes ago, Pagoda said: You’re right the HH collective is shady. It’s a zero transparency slush fund for those two with no oversight or financial controls — put simply they almost certainly skim from it despite claiming every dollar goes to IU athletes. If anyone wants to give to NIL please go to Hoosiers Connect for a collective with proper oversight and professional operations. 5 minutes ago, Shoes_N_Shorts said: That is a strong allegation. I agree it is a strong allegation. Probably should have included some qualifiers, such as "in my opinion it's a slush fund" or "they could be skimming from it" rather than present those opinions as fact. Nonetheless the way their collective is structured leaves the door wide open for shady behavior. And we just have to take their words for it that everything's kosher. Chris007 and PartyintheVillas 2

JustWinBaby Posted February 26 Posted February 26 7 minutes ago, Pagoda said: I'm a pretty big Dolson supporter/defender, but he likely got too close with these two. First off, I hope IU is requiring an audit or review of their collective. IU is fundamentally associated with them and should confirm their claims are true (all donations to athletes... doubtful) and of course IU should confirm they can deliver on promises to players. Second, their behavior is net negative for IU athletics. Some of their podcasts are good, and that's fine. But there are so many bad X posts, Peegs posts, podcast comments, and instances of bad public behavior that IU shouldn't be associating with them. I cannot believe Scott let them host an event at Assembly Hall. The HH can do their thing, it's a free country. But IU needs to keep them out of the athletic department and be cautious when they include them in our player NIL deals. Agree 100% with all of this. Their behavior on X is genuinely so awkward and cringe, and any time someone is remotely critical Eric blocks them. It's an awful look for the university for these guys to have any access to the program whatsoever. I'll never forget Eric suggesting in an X post that Trey Galloway marry his (extremely underage) daughter. Just weirdo behavior and a complete lack of decorum for someone who was hosting events in Assembly Hall with players. PartyintheVillas 1
