He was back on the Scout site.  As has been stated, he had some connections while Crean was the coach.  Though, he infamously called Gary Harris as a lock to IU.

As the day goes by the more I learn his the post this morning is way off. Is Brad Stevens coming to IU? No. Has he said no for sure? No he hasn’t. I think there are some things both sides are trying to get worked out. I think IU side feels like they can get it done.

Maaaaaannnnnn if they don't, can Brad at least throw us a bone and be like "Yeah I was seriously considering it and IF I were to go back to college coaching it would definitely have been Indiana"  I'm sooooooo tired of other fan bases laughing at us pursuing Stevens like we are some teenage stalkers. He owes us one after the mass hole comment !!!!!

I can’t answer that on his side. Two years of high school left for their daughter could be something. The sale of the Celtics could be something. But I keep coming back to him not signing an extension and his contract being up soon. Also that he misses coaching.
