.....I, for one, will choose to lean on the last post from jerryYeagley23, I paraphrase,.......

.....he and another insider friend were told to quite down to not draw attention to the Stevens to IU smoke.

......There are no guarantees who is chosen, just that Dolson knows what he is doing and be patient. 

With that being said,......coming from a guy who's super impatient and "hyper-focused" on this coaching search, lol.....the waiting and not know is deafening! lol

I enjoy hockey.  The first two periods, the Canadians passed better and seemed in control.  I was surprised each time the USA scored.  USA was quick on offense at times.

Did not see the whole game.

I am not looking forward to IU basketball games this season.

Never a legend, I’ll leave that to you, kind sir. And getting made fun of forever, hey, I’ll wear it. Like you, I simply pass along what I’m told. Commend you specifically, Mr Chris, for continuing to show up and share the info you hear, regardless of the blowback you receive if you aren’t exactly spot on. At the end of the day, we aren’t the ones making the decisions (or it would’ve been wrapped up with the first meeting, am I right?!), we are a just a couple regular dudes sharing info.

McDavid was the best hockey player on the ice, in the end he was the difference!

My theory though is that Kathy came in trying to tell us about the process but was being really smug about it. She got on people’s nerves and rubbed them the wrong way which caused people to get upset and tune her out, regardless of whether or not what she said was reality or not. 

She got very butt hurt about that do decided to sarcastically come in as with a blaze of glory under the name Issac (another board member screen name reference like Kathy) pronouncing Stevens to IU to mess with us all. It was believable at first until the Friday that the info started coming in real time and fast and furious. The info about the negotiation of the contract, needing and getting board approval all within an hour or so. This is when I made the list about starting to feel duped and things getting weird.

He/She started to get heat again and realized that the gig may be up but still tried to through out believable feelers but less and less people were holding on to his word. He decided to lay low for a few days, periodically trying to drop nuggets to see if they would hit as other insiders dropped nuggets of info. Finally, he decided to give up that persona and try a new one with BehindTheBench. Another screen name that portrays a closeness to the program or “insider”. The posting styles are eerily similar too. Again, trying to see if he can real people in so maybe at a later date they can come out and say that we are all so gullible and out of touch with reality as revenge for the treatment she got as Kathy.

Again, I hope my Theory is all asinine and Kathy, Isaac, and BehindTheBench are not all the same person and do know what they are talking about, but as of now, these are my thoughts. Can we just hire a coach already. Now, back to the drinking portion of the thread. But for the record, I am violating my own schedule by not drinking right now even though I may be spitting out incoherent content. Good night Ya’ll!!

Apologies if my name lead you to believe I was THAT close to the program. Heck, if that were the case, for all of us I’d tackle Mike right there on the court and have him arrested for impersonating a basketball coach. Kidding, kind of. Btw, you do know the team doesn’t sit on an actual bench, right, just saying…

Loose lips are busting at the seams. Formal announcement in 10 days, not likely, and never alluded to that. What I did allude to though, was good news and some happy gentlemen (and ladies?) around here in roughly 10 days. By Senior Day, we will know. Within 48 hours of our conference tournament exit, “official” announcement will be made. It’s done. They aren’t quieting me (ok maybe they are a little).
