They typically meet in an unrelated city apparently from what I have read.   Guess Archie didn’t even see our facilities till after he signed.  Read an article that mentioned where he signed his contract and it was a complete wtf.

I have said many times I don't want an IU guy because none of them have earned it (obviously IMO.) I want the best we can get and Woodson, Cheaney & Lewis aren't in that conversation. Doesn't mean they couldn't succeed, just too much risk.

Chris...I do appreciate your bringing info to the board. I really do. But at this point with the Stevens fiasco, and everybody going bats__t over the rumor du jour, unless you can tell me that you got this info from Dolson, or the interviewees themselves, you can understand my skepticism.
And I probably should not have said "we don't know who Dolson has talked to". That was probably (or is) an exaggeration on my part. A couple of you guys are connected far better than 99.9% of us. But at this point, color me skeptical until the presser with Dolson.

Every tweet or post about the coaching search is speculation. That is why it should be met with skepticism

All of the other top candidates were still coaching until this past weekend, so it would make perfect sense to get the interviews with the others out of the way while you wait for your top candidates to free up. Seriously, very solid posts. We have completely lost our minds since Brad crapped in our soup. The fact we aren't involved in the interview process doesn't mean it's gone off the tracks. I'm reserving the right to freak out until after the hire. Then I will savage Dolson, the new coach and most of you.
