Couple of thoughts for me: 

1) Someone could really write a book about the last 5-6 weeks of this program when it's all said and done. What a crazy time (Woodson "retirement, team starts to show some life, coaching search, missing the tournament, and eventually an announcement.) I miss Terry Hutchens. He would've been the guy to do so. 

2) This fact pisses me off: Indiana in the last 9 seasons has only made the tournament twice. One of those two times they were In the first 4..

3) Scott Dolson has to get this hire right. This fan base is sick of this. I can't see fans continuing to show this kind of support for mediocre basketball. 

4) If no announcement is made by the start of the tournament, it's somebody in the Field of 68. In fact, I think even by Wednesday. There is literally no reason or benefit to wait around if they currently aren't coaching a team. Need to get things going with the portal next week. So, I think you can cross Collins, Devries, Donovan, Stevens, Turgeon (I kid) if we don't hear anything soon. I give Thursday a slight chance if they want to pull some kind of Jerry Jones stunt and announce it at the start of the games (Purdue plays right away Thursday). 

5) IF it is a coach in the Field of 68, give it 24-48 hours after they are eliminated. If you don't hear anything by then, you can cross them off. Again, need to get things going. 

It's going to be a fun week. I imagine this time next week we will know..unless our coach is in the Sweet 16.
