This coaching staff, particularly Mike Woodson, particularly like to play victim and pass blame.  
 

I hate seeing these stories because people are ridiculous and should never behave in such manners.

However, it’s just a plain fact of social media.  It brings out the worst in many people. It’s a known fact. Teach the staff, and players how to handle this and process this.  The IQ of the people doing these acts is so low they are virtually subhuman.  Putting any mental space into the thoughts of people this cruel and unintelligent is a gigantic waste of headspace.  ZERO creedance should be given to these people.  
 

Instead focus on the things you can control and take in as much of the positives as you can. Or tune out completely like Lebron James does during the season.

But it’s a great excuse and gets people to feel very sorry for you when you have failed to meet expectations….ahem.  Woody!

Figured it all out through the message board rumors:

- IU went hard after Stevens and eventually got told no.

- IU has stayed in contact with Stevens to create a successful “front office” like the Celtics have and how they built a successful team.

- IU will hire a hot up and comer in McCollum.

- The Turgeon smoke is because they are bringing him in to be the GM to help McCollum adjust to the game, and so DMV doesn’t have to get a tattoo of Turgeon riding a turdgeon.

Me too, but Pope and Kelsey were less than inspiring hires and have worked out well, so I'll hold out some hope. Plus, I really am tired of hearing how amazing things are every off-season. If Dolson believes BB can win games in Btown, I'll be right with him (until maybe I am not a few years in.)

I haven't been one to say "Here's my ordered list of preferred coaches" and so I haven't shared who I prefer or don't. But, I think the biggest danger to IUBB is apathy. The memories of success get further in the past each year. Brad Brownell might be the only coach mentioned who would actually *increase* the level of fan apathy.

I'm guess I could talk myself into it eventually but man, that's tough to get excited about.
